John has been a competitive cyclist for the last 20 years, a two time member of the national squad and has completed two Rapport tours. He has been involved in cycling retail for the past 15 years and opened John O'Connor Cycles in October 2009.

John O'Connor Cycles caters for the cycling enthusiast from the novice to the serious cyclist. We stock high-end road and mountain bikes, as well as wheels, components, helmets, shoes, clothing, eyewear, nutritional products and bike rentals. Our workshop offers a full range of services, including general service, bike build, race checks and wheel tensioning. Customers have the benefit of direct interaction with our highly experienced technicians on issues pertaining to their bikes.

Our team is passionate about cycling and are all avid cyclists. They are up to date on the latest technology and developments in cycling and can assist customers on all related queries. In the UK, British Eurosport launched in 1999, replacing Eurosport International on most platforms with some schedule variations and local commentary. British Eurosport creates programmes specifically for the UK, it has live studio presentations of numerous major sporting events and tournaments.
